AlignCare Care Circle — SMS Invitations

How recipients consent to receive messages

AlignCare sends SMS invitations only when an existing AlignCare user explicitly invites someone. Messages are sent only to people an existing AlignCare user has invited. We never purchase, rent, or append phone numbers, and we never send unsolicited or promotional messages.

Opt-in flow

1. Step 1. An existing AlignCare user opens the app and goes to Care Circle → “Add family or caregiver.”
2. Step 2. The user selects a contact from their phone’s address book or types in a phone number or email address.
3. Step 3. Before any message is sent, the user is shown a consent disclosure and must confirm they have the recipient’s permission to be contacted: “By inviting someone, you confirm they have agreed to receive a text message from AlignCare about joining your Care Circle. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.”
4. Step 4. The user taps “Send invites.” AlignCare sends one SMS to the recipient with the inviter’s name and a link to join.

This is the screen where an AlignCare user selects contacts and confirms consent before any invitation is sent.

Message frequency

One-time invitation message, plus up to 3 reminder messages if the invitation is not accepted. Recipients who reply STOP receive no further messages of any kind.
